Small Dinosaur trace fossil

Small dinosaur (?Anchisauripus) and Horseshoe Crab (Crescentichnus) trace fossils.

Burniston

Trace fossils. Dinosaurs and Horseshoe Crabs. Small, 3 toed theropod tracks share a surface with numerous horseshoe-shaped marks made by the head shield of horseshoe crabs (limulids). This is a slab, fallen downside-up, from the Burniston Footprint Bed of the Long Nab Member. Crescentichnus is very common in this bed, as are dinosaur prints, large and small. Interpreted as a brackish pool or river shallows on a floodplain. Middle Jurassic. Burniston.
